It uses nuanced Supply (all types of games). A lot of what i will describe below will rely on the 1939 European Theater “Quickgame.” The Campaigns benefit too, but the Quickgames REALLY do. The Quickgames have a LOT of interesting depth to them, because of things I’ll elaborate on here below. There are two types of games that can be played, Campaigns (see above) and “Quickgames” (as the dev says, they ain’t quick, necessarily). So the above would usually have me done and refunding pretty damn quick. Beer and Pretzels Axis and Allies descended via Panzer General. The usual abstraction of Unit types being units not formations being units in this kind of game. The usual rinse and repeat of the Panzer General formula: “I took Tobruk in May 1941!” “Great, but Battleaxe comes next anyway, guy.” Campaigns are branching campaigns with few choices.Very simplistic IGOUGO, like Panzer General and all its descendants. It feels, and plays, as if someone wrote a 50 page thesis, Martin Luther style, regarding the limitations of Panzer Corps and things they could do to improve it, and then implemented it. So the game is amazing for a first time dev, that goes without saying. I apologize for the kind of confused format of my observations, but like I said, I am very deep into it, yet undecided. So much so that I told Brooski about it the other day. So, I’m pretty deep into this, for about two weeks now after stumbling across it.
